Orto Parisi Boccanera

Orto Parisi Boccanera opens with chili, black pepper, ginger and cacao, passes through a jasmine shadow, then settles into dark chocolate, leather, vanilla, musk, cedar, patchouli and animalic warmth.

Evolution: chili, black pepper and ginger strike through bitter cacao → jasmine briefly softens the heat → chocolate, leather and animalic musk become dark, sweet and rough.

Best for: Those drawn to dark chocolate and vanilla cut by chili, black pepper, leather and animalic notes. The spicy-leathery tension makes it much less dessert-like than the gourmand notes suggest.
