Francesca Bianchi Etruscan Water
Francesca Bianchi Etruscan Water is a dense neo-vintage chypre, not a breezy marine citrus. Bitter peel and petitgrain cut through green basil and caraway; dry immortelle, earthy orris and indolic jasmine sink into salty ambergris, bitter oakmoss and smoky labdanum with a leathery, faintly feral edge.
Profile: Chypre, citrusy, spicy, powdery.
Notes: bergamot, green tangerine, grapefruit, petitgrain, basil, caraway, immortelle, jasmine, orris root, musk, ambergris, labdanum, vetiver, oakmoss.
Evolution: bitter citrus peel, petitgrain and aromatic green heat → dusty immortelle, earthy orris and indolic jasmine → dehydrated oakmoss, salty ambergris and smoky labdanum with a leathery-animalic edge.
Best for: For a deliberate, independent person whose style combines weathered textures with precise tailoring, moving between gallery walks and late conversations. The cumin-tinted, salty-animalic moss may feel too severe or bodily for anyone expecting sparkling summer freshness.
Origin: Netherlands.
Longevity: about 12 hours.
